A SPACESUIT FOR EVERYONE IS A MOVEMENT
Pioneering open source space technology development; specifically designing, building, and testing lighter, cheaper, and simpler space suits and lowering the cost of space access.
With over eight years of scientific and technical development under our belt, we are ready to go live. Let’s start a movement!
Our first open source DIY project – a spacesuit for all of humanity – is ready for field testing.
This summer beginning on July 23 at precisely 5:11:11 am Pacific Time in the remote deserts of Eastern Oregon we will be undertaking our most aggressive space suit testing during our Launching Man™ 30 day base camp event.
We will need volunteers, in kind, and financial donations in order to pull off this major feat for the future of space access for all of humanity
A SPACESUIT FOR EVERYONE MISSION STATEMENT
1. We applaud and are inspired by the increased access to space travel that commercial business entities have achieved since the turn of the millennium.
2. We have enthusiastically leveraged that momentum to create a movement where open-source space technology development will dramatically increase access to Space, Space Travel, and Ex-Earth Habitation.
3. We believe that Space Travel, Space Exploration, and Ex-Earth Habitation are the logical next step chapters that are currently being written with respect to the evolution of our species. In short, Space Travel is Humanity’s Next Chapter.
4. We feel strongly that Space Travel must be a movement that is inclusive, diverse, and accessible to all. Access to and participation in Humanity’s Next Chapter is a birthright to which we are all entitled.
